Responsive websites for Future Cities Catapult

CITIE

CITY INITIATIVES for TECHNOLOGY, INNOVATION and ENTREPRENEURSHIP (CITIE) supports city leaders to develop policy to catalyse innovation and entrepreneurship.

In 2015 I built the CITIE holding website to showcase the project. It was a multi-section single page responsive website with a rapid turnaround in development time. This holding website was used alongside early announcements of the project to inform about the vision of the project and gather support.

Later in the project I supported the production phase of the main website by providing quality assurance through data analysis and generation of test data visualisations. This role included troubleshooting the data provided from the client and building a comparison tool, so the team could easily test the data visualisations on the main website to ensure they were behaving as they should. I built these tests using Chart.js and Python libraries.

Urban Datastore

Front-end development of the Urban Datastore. Involved in the design research, which built upon insights from data users. Also rewrote the Transport API documentation into new format.
